Lance-Corporal Douglas John Black

Douglas was born in Strathclair, Manitoba and married Helen Marie McKinnon. They lived at 104 West River Street in 1943 when he enlisted. He was a Paris merchant. He served as a Lance Corporal in C Company of the Dufferin and Haldimand Rifles.

Douglas died in 1977 and is buried in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Paris.
