Private Norman Riley Brown

Norman was born in England in 1895 and was one of the oldest fighters in WWII. He had already fought in France, Belgium and Germany during the First World War. He was employed as a scourer at Penman’s and lived with his wife Eleanor at 81 West River Road.

He served in the 2nd Battalion Dufferin and Haldimand Rifles.
