Murray Clifton Burns
When Murray Burns enlisted in 1940 at 30 years of age, he was a married insurance agent whose only military experience was a stint in the school cadets at Paris District High School. He and his wife Kathleen lived at 75 Walnut Street in Paris. He enlisted in Unit C of the Dufferin and Haldimand Rifles.
Murray survived the war but died at 51 years of age in Brantford. He is buried in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery In Paris.
