Sergeant George Gordon Hunter

George Hunter was born in Paris in 1917. He lived at 15 Dundas with his father, William Pirie Hunter; his mother, Ethel May Hill; his grandmother, Agnes Hunter; and two older siblings. His photo appears in the Paris District High School Yearbook of 1938. He enlisted in the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Air Force and rose to the rank of Sergeant. He later married Vivien Crombie, also of Paris, and they had two children. Vivien died in 1995, and George died in the Brantford General hospital in 2010. They are buried together in the Paris Cemetery.
