Minnie Elizabeth went by the names Elizabeth, Beth, Eliza and Betty at various times through her life. She was born in 1920, the third daughter of Algernon and Mary Pond. She was born on Burwell Street, but by the time she enlisted during WWII in the Royal Canadian Air Force, the family was living at 101 Walnut Street.
She served as a Leading Aircraftwoman.
