Flight Officer Andrew Lloyd Sinclair
Andrew Sinclair was a married father of two children when he enlisted in the Second World War. Born in Paris in 1889, he became a hardware store merchant and married Sarah Maud Barker in 1911. The couple owned a house at 29 St. Andrew Street. He served as Flight Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force and received the Distinguished Flying Cross, which is awarded for acts of valour, courage or devotion to duty while flying in active operations against the enemy. He returned to Paris following the war and lived to the age of 73. He is buried in the Paris Cemetery.
