H. Crawford Wreaks
Crawford was born in Paris in 1925. He grew up with his grandparents and two older sisters at 57 Capron Street. He worked as a knitter at Penman’s before enlisting in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War. He held the rank of Able Seaman. After the war, he lived in Burlington, Ontario with his wife Shirley Elizabeth of Detroit Michigan. He died in 2006 and is buried in Burlington Memorial Gardens.
