Joseph Barber
Joseph Barber was born in 1897 in England. He served with the British Expeditionary Force during the First World War, from 1916 to 1920. He emigrated to Canada following the war, and he and his wife Sarah Anne raised their family at 83 West River Road.
Joseph was a mill worker at Penman’s when he enlisted in the Second World War. He was 43 years old at the time. He lived to the age of 75 and is buried in the Paris Cemetery.
