Albert Artus Bethune

Albert Bethune

Albert Artus Bethune was born in either Brantford or Paris, and also like his brother, we know little so far about his military service. He spent three years overseas with the 3rd Division Canadian Legion War Service. During World War II, the Royal Canadian Legion, operating as Canadian Legion War Services, provided essential support to Canadian troops by running canteens, delivering entertainment like concerts and movies, offering correspondence courses, and maintaining personal service bureaus both in Canada and overseas. Arthur died in London Ontario in June, 1977 in his 57th year.
